Un curso básico de la defensa propia. Consta de 10 clases de 1 hora.
El objetivo de las clases es permitir al alumno para defender y combatir contra el asalto de confrontación.
es decir, los ataques por la espalda / frente / lateral.
Los ataques de los agresores armados.
Consejos sobre cómo "tener en cuenta" asalto potencial.
Técnicas de "Breakaway" cuando está en manos de un atacante!
Yo te llevará paso a paso hasta que son competentes y capaces de defenderse a sí mismo con un alto nivel. Si me siento después de 10 clases que necesita más práctica de las clases siguientes serán sin cargo hasta que se alcance estándar!
Las clases son en un "roll on" base por lo que pueden unirse en cualquier momento.

SELF DEFENCE CLASSES

SELF DEFENCE
5€ PER SESSION EVERY SATURDAY 13.15 hrs
A foundation course of the self-defence. Consisting of 10 classes of 1 hour.
The purpose of the classes is to enable the pupil to defend and counter against confrontational assault.
i.e. attacks from behind/front/side.
Attacks by armed aggressor.
Advice on how to “watch out for” potential assault.
“Breakaway” techniques when being held by an attacker!
I will take you step by step until you are proficient and able to defend yourself to a high standard. If I feel after 10 classes you require more practice the subsequent classes will be free of charge until standard is reached!
The classes are on a “roll on” basis so you can join at any time.

Rojales artists caves

I don't know if you have ever visited the Cuevas del Rodeo - the artists caves in Rojales?

Each month there is an arts & crafts market in this unique location, and next Sunday - 2nd June - will be the last daytime one till October, with artists and artisans displaying their goods & demonstrating their abilities.
There will also be music & a paella (served around 2pm).

We still hear folk saying they can't find them & we have asked the town hall to put up more signs, but there are many signs round the town saying: "CUEVAS DEL RODEO" to follow & there are full directions on the CostaArt.Net website too.

Many people remember fondly the music evenings they used to have there & we are hoping these will be re-instated for the evening arts & crafts markets to be held in July, August & September - probably on the first Saturday of the month.
However the July one will probably be on the 13th - so as not to clash with the town's Moors & Christians - & will have flamenco dance show, food & drink too!

So hope to see some of you there next Sunday?

Our stall is up and running from 9.30 am till end of Auction.
You are not charged for items not sold. All we require from you is 50 cents for all goods sold or 50 cents added to goods sold. This goes to 10 charities we are supporting throughout 2013

A Dog Found Today!

I hope someone can help! Today we found a little dog here in Rojales/Formentera near the British indoor market, all wet, dirty and scared, We took her in, fed and dried off, I am not sure its a girl or boy, looks like girl, all white with brown patches round her eyes and ears. The dog has a stripy collar pink with white. She is less nervous now warming up, I will take her to vets today,fingers crossed, there is a micro chip, if not, if anybody knows anybody looking for their doggy, small hairy breed, please get in touch and I will send the pictures. i hope she does belong to somebody and will be found! if there is anywhere else i can put the notice up please let me know, this is the first time this has happened to us and we are not sure where else to notify! Thank you.

RESCUE CENTRE DEEPLY SADDENED

Award and donation happy girls

The EHCRC were deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Solvi Jansen in the early hours of Christmas morning.

Solvi and her twin sister Kate, who were simply known as “the twins” by hundreds of people that knew them because of their tremendous fundraising efforts throughout the Costa Blanca. They truly have been incredible supporters and benefactors of the rescue centre from almost the beginning.

Sue Weeding cofounder said without the twins the rescue centre would never have survived in the early days. Indeed many of the early rescues were made possible because of their fundraising and their own personal donations.

Solvi had been fighting cancer for a long while and even towards the end she still continued to make the labels for the donation tins and sit for hours sticking them on the tins of which there are thousands throughout the Costa Blanca.

One of the great highlights for the EHCRC and also for Solvi and Kate, was not only winning the pride of Spain Special Achievement Award in 2010 but the surprise donation that Solvi and Kate made on that very special night of 10.000Euros.

Because of Solvi Jansens’ incredible kindness and compassion there are many happy horses who will be living the rest of their lives here at the rescue center.

And every day when we look at our very own special Solvi the horse, who was rescued in April this year and named in honor of Solvi Jansen, we will always remember with love the extraordinary person she really was and all that she has done for us and all the animals here at the rescue center.
